THE POSITION
The Purchasing & Sustainability Division is looking for a detail-oriented and resourceful Management Assistant to support city-wide waste management recycling programs and centralized procurement operations. Responsibilities include assisting with program coordination and implementation analyzing financial and operational data supporting budgeting and grant activities preparing reports and presentations and contributing to sustainability outreach and special initiatives. The role also provides administrative and analytical support for the purchasing process to ensure that procurement practices align with City policies. Success in this position requires strong analytical skills attention to detail excellent written communication and a commitment to environmental responsibility and operational efficiency.

IDEAL CANDIDATE
The ideal candidate for the Management Assistant position within the Citys Purchasing & Sustainability Division is a highly motivated and detail-oriented professional with strong analytical administrative and organizational skills. This individual should have a genuine interest in environmental stewardship and municipal governance and thrive in a dynamic environment that balances operational efficiency with innovative sustainability efforts.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
A bachelors degree in finance public or business administration or a closely related field; OR equivalent related work experience; ANDat least one (1) year of professional experience performing administrative operations budgetary and similar analyses.
