Position Title:
Lead QC Technician (12 month FTC)
Reporting To:
QC Team Lead
Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out scientific and technical tasks within the Microbiology Quality Control Department in an effective and efficient manner.
- Perform routine laboratory procedures and potentially lead all aspects of the work of others within the section.
- Prepare technical documentation within the department as required.
- Train others as needed.
- Ensure compliance with all personal lead times barring any attenuating circumstances.
- Manage and complete projects within the department as needed.
- Develop and validate laboratory procedures.
- Review analytical and laboratory data for accuracy completeness and compliance with detailed procedures.
- Communicate effectively with colleagues on site and participate in departmental and site-wide problem-solving.
- Undertake additional tasks as necessary.
- Apply cGMP in your area of work and align with cGMP across the business.
Qualifications/Experience:
- Degree in Applied Biology (with microbiology) or a closely related field or equivalent experience.
- Demonstrated experience in Pharmaceutical Microbiology.
- Proven ability to work to critical timelines.
- A proactive approach.
- Effective communication skills at all internal levels.

- Comply strictly with all EH&S requirements.
- Observe and promote safety behavior in the working environment.
