Job Description
Position: Before/After School Aide
Job Goal:Under close supervision of theBefore and After School SiteCoordinator and/orBefore and After School Teacher assist with the day-to-day programming activities within the After School Program.
Qualifications:
- Must have previous experience working with school-aged children
- Must be at least 17 years of age
- Must be able to obtain CPR certification within 60 days of hire
Reports To:
- Building-based Before and AfterProgram SiteCoordinator
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Monitor childrens needs health and safety at all times
- Assist in organizing and facilitating group activities and projects
- Provide assistance during parent pick up
- Assist in ensuring safe play conditions for children
- Provide assistance to students during homework help
- Encourage children to participate in enrichment activities and organized games
- Demonstrate enthusiasm patience positivity and a strong work ethic
- Must work well in a team environment
- Other duties as assigned
