As a member of the Corporate Services Human Resources team the Human Resources Co-op provides overall project and administrative support to the Corporate HR team including Talent Acquisition Talent Management HRIS Learning and Development compliance and day-to-day employee support.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Processes new hires terminations and job requisitions using Johnson Electrics HRIS (Workday).
Coordinates co-op funding with several external organizations.
Supports with the creation of internal communication materials such as newsletters TV displays and other communications as needed.
Supports the coordination of local and global employee engagement initiatives.
Records and tracks training activities for Corporate Services PM-Services and FPS-Services employees
Runs reporting monthly quarterly and bi-annually for several Learning & Development programs
Supports with onboarding off-boarding and position change activities as required.
Uploads and updates organizational charts on Stackpoles intranet (MaRC).
Drafts Confirmation of Employment Letters as requested by employees.
Works in compliance with Johnson Electrics Quality and EHS Policies and Procedures including IATF 16949 / ISO 9001 / ISO 14001
Performs other related duties as required
QUALIFICATIONS:
Current Student or Recent Graduate of a college or university Human Resources or Business program
Ability to work in a highly organized manner where attention to detail accuracy and confidentiality are critical
Strong computer skills (Excel Word PowerPoint Outlook).
Self-starter with a can-do attitude
Adaptable and flexible individual
Demonstrated ability to work in a fast paced environment and manage multiple priorities
Able to communicate effectively both written and verbally at all levels of the organization
High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results orientation
