About you and this role:

Serves as a vital resource for Operations by applying technical skills to optimize plant operations resolve plant problems and enable safe and efficient production of low cost quality products. Requires in-depth conceptual and practical knowledge in job discipline and basic knowledge of related job disciplines to solve complex problems.

Responsibilities as Production Coordinator:

  • Extracts production schedule from SAP. Obtains information from the maintenance schedule equipment/plant availability resource availability raw material location and finished product storage location.
  • Evaluates capability to commit to schedule. Develops a plan to resolve exceptions that are covered by Business rules.
  • Understands the plan to resolve the exception and the impact on the production schedule and provides appropriate feedback to planning.
  • Performs SAP transactions to create and release production order(s) if needed.
  • Communicates production instructions to operations personnel. Utilizes knowledge of plant capability capacity and inventory to ensure daily production targets are met.
  • Serves as on call contact for issues regarding production scheduling.
  • Ensures site integration issues are resolved.
  • Ensures OXO plant integration issues are resolved.

Responsibilities as Unit Leader:

  • Responds urgently to plant issues and emergencies.
  • Acts as a unit technical expert during unplanned events and drives implementation of effective corrective and preventative actions.
  • Provides leadership expertise diagnosis and optimization in plant Raw Material Efficiency which may include yield or waste generation.
  • Ensures compliance with plant operating permits. Understands site integration and provides input to optimize the overall system.
  • Works closely with the operations team to solve issues as they arise.
  • Collaborates seamlessly with five different OXO units working alongside five RPEs (Run Plant Engineers) and five TAs (Technical Advisors) to ensure OXO operates efficiently as a whole.
  • Keeps abreast of emerging challenges within OXO assisting the team in prioritizing production needs based on rates and maintenance resources.

Required Qualifications:

  • A minimum of a bachelors degree.
  • A minimum of 6 years of engineering manufacturing or related experience.
  • A minimum requirement for this U.S. based position is the ability to work legally in the United States. No visa sponsorship/support is available for this position including for any type of U.S. permanent residency (green card) process.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • A degree in engineering.

Able to meet the following physical demands of the job with or without reasonable accommodations:

  • Work at heights climbs stairs and ladders.
  • Wear all required personal protective equipment such as earplugs goggles and steel-toed shoes.
  • Work in an area of intense or continuous noise.
  • Work in an area with hazardous materials.

  • Must be able to wear and use personal protective equipment (PPE) including harnesses with a total weight capacity of 300lbs.
