Job Summary:
This role is for an X-Ray Technologist working the night shift (3 twelve-hour shifts per week) including every Thursday and Friday every third Wednesday every third weekend and on-call coverage for holidays. The technologist will perform a variety of X-ray procedures across multiple body regions in an acute care hospital setting. Minimum one year of experience is required and first-time applicants are accepted.
Location: Springfield Illinois United States
Responsibilities:
- Performing various X-ray procedures including abdomen chest head extremities spine and mobile/surgical X-rays. Specific procedures listed in the job description.
- Utilizing equipment such as the O-ARM and C-arm.
- Maintaining accurate patient records and documentation.
- Responding to on-call requests as needed.
- Adhering to all safety protocols and regulations.
- Collaborating with the healthcare team.
Required Skills & Certifications:
- ARRT certification.
- BLS certification.
- Active Illinois state license.
- Minimum one year of experience (first-timers accepted).
- Experience in Adult Acute Care Adult Outpatient ER ICU NICU or Operating Room settings.
- Proficiency in various X-ray techniques (detailed list provided in job description).
Preferred Skills & Certifications:
- Cerner experience.
- Level I Trauma experience.
Special Considerations:
- On-call duties are required as needed.
- No floating to other areas within the facility.
- Schedule requests can be discussed with the manager but the standard schedule is non-negotiable.
- Guaranteed hours are subject to a 36-hour call-off allowance per 13-week assignment. Additional call-offs will be billed to the client. On-call shifts count as called-off shifts.
- Maximum RTO (return to office) restriction of 5 days.
- Pending licenses are not accepted.
Scheduling:
- Third shift (nights).
- Three 12-hour shifts per week.
- Every Thursday and Friday.
- Every third Wednesday.
- Every third weekend.
- On-call and holiday coverage required.
