1. Create the strategy and plan of approach for the channel along with the Cluster Head
2. Ensuring that all sales / revenue targets for the channel is met as defined below:
market share
assets under management by asset class or total gross sales net sales
number of customer accounts number of transactions
number of SIPs etc.
3. Accountability for implementing all sales and distribution initiatives including sales promotion
drives new product launches in the given distribution channel
4. Identifying and appointing new distributors to enhance market share and reach
5. Reporting to Cluster head Head on progress giving market updates taking feedback and
implementation
6. Managing a team of sales and distribution staff - permanent as well as outsourced for given
territory
7. Training internal sales team and distributors on markets and products
8. Working along with Relationship Managers to ensure that they received adequate support and
assistance for the respective channels
