Description:
We are seeking an experienced Senior Application Engineer with a focus on cloud platforms specifically this role youll engage with stakeholders on technical decisions best practices and risk management while engineering and securing cloud capabilities and infrastructure.Salary range:$235000 - $260000
Disclaimer: Salary for this position along with additional compensation options will be determined on an individual basis following the interview process considering various factors such as years of experience skills education/certifications contract specifications market conditions etc.
Skills Requirements:
- Proven ability to engage with senior stakeholders on technical decisions best practices and risk management
- Extensive experience with cloud platforms particularly AWS
- Adaptability to rapidly evolving cloud technologies and infrastructure management tools
- Outstanding communication problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- In-depth knowledge of network architecture and security principles
- Understanding of security and compliance requirements for cloud solutions
Nice to Haves:
- Associate-level or higher commercial cloud certification (AWS preferred)
- Familiarity with the Risk Management Framework
- Proficiency in AWS security services (IAM SCPs Config Security Hub GuardDuty Inspector)
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (CloudFormation Terraform) and related languages (YAML JSON Python)
- Knowledge of automation tools like SaltStack Ansible Chef or Puppet
Experience Requirement:
8 yrs. with aB.S. in Computer Science or a technical discipline
Clearance Requirement:
Active TS/SCI with a polygraph
