In the Mechatronics & Sustainable Packaging Design for Scale (DfS) organization we have the unique role and privilege to work backwards from our customer needs and represent their voice through the entire product lifecycle (from product development to deployment to support & service) embodying Amazons leadership principle: Customer Obsession. Key job responsibilities
- Develop an understanding and assess the quality of fulfillment center and IXD automation
- Ideate and author validation plans from a written set of product requirements with clarity on specific test cases to be executed against
- Measure and report machine metrics
- Provide thoughtful test reports which quantify and prove product maturity
- Collaborate with partner teams to ensure an aligned view on the quality of the product being validated
- Develop test scripts and other automation to aid in validation

About the team
Youll be joining a team of Engineers who genuinely care about the Customer. Engineers who use data and scientific methods to measure the quality of the product and who have a passion for not allowing failures into the field.
- 4 years of quality assurance engineering experience
- Experience in automation testing
- Experience in manual testing
- Experience as QA lead on medium to large sized projects
- Experience with at least one automated test framework like Selenium or Appium
- Experience in gathering test requirements to create detailed test plans and defining quality metrics to measure product quality

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $102600/year in our lowest geographic market up to $185000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge skills and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered equity sign-on payments and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package in addition to a full range of medical financial and/or other benefits.
