Responsibilities:
- ServeasanOwnersRepresentativeforsafetyacrossdatacenterconstructionandoperationalenvironments
- EnsurecompliancewithOSHA1926StandardsforConstructionandcompany-specificprotocols
- Overseesafetyforsiteworkerscontractorsandthegeneralpublicinactiveelectricalanddatacentersettings
- Developanddeliversafetykick-offpresentationson-siteorientationsanddailypre-shiftmeetings
- Conductdailysitesafetyinspectionshazardassessmentsandauditswithanemphasisonelectricalsystemsandhigh-riskworkareas
- Investigateincidentsdocumentfindingsandensurefollow-upcorrectiveactions
- Performjobhazardanalyses(JHAs)riskassessmentsandsite-specificsafetyplans
- Recommendmodificationsorimprovementstoequipmentfacilitiesorprocessestoeliminatehazards
- Compileandsubmitdailyweeklyandmonthlysafetyreportstointernalstakeholdersandclients
- InterfacewithmunicipalitiesOSHAinsurancecarriersandotherregulatoryagenciesasneeded
- Maintainallsafetydocumentationinaccordancewithsiteandcorporatestandards
PreferredExperience:
- Previoussafetyoversightwithindatacenterconstructionoroperations
- Experiencewithelectricalsafetyenergizedworklockout/tagout(LOTO)andarcflashhazardmitigation
- Familiaritywithmission-criticalenvironmentsandworkingwithtradesincludingelectricalmechanicalandHVAC
Education/Qualifications:
- FluentinEnglish(writtenandverbal)
- OSHA30-HourforConstruction(required)
- 37yearsofsafetyexperiencewithatleast2yearsindatacenterorelectricalenvironments
- BCSPCertification()
- DegreeinEnvironmentalHealth&Safetyorrelatedfield(orequivalentexperience)
- Strongabilitytotrainothersonsafetyprogramsandprocedures
- Skilledinrecognizingpotentialhazardsandrecommendingcorrectiveaction
- Abilitytoreadandinterpretconstructiondrawingsandspecifications
- ProficientinMicrosoftOfficeSuite(OutlookWordPowerPointExcel)
- Technologicallysavvyandcomfortableusingdigitalsafetyplatformsandreportingtools
