Job Description
As a Senior-Lead Backend Engineer at Bilue youll be responsible for designing building and optimising high-quality scalable backend systems and cloud-based APIs. With 6 years of commercial experience /C# youll play a pivotal role in delivering robust secure and maintainable solutions that meet the highest standards of performance.
Youll work closely with clients and cross-functional teams driving technical excellence through best practices rigorous testing and continuous integration. Experience with Azure Cloud is preferred along with a strong understanding of modern API development and cloud-based architectures.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop scalable high-performance backend services using .NET/C# prioritising clean maintainable and high-quality code.
- Build and optimise RESTful APIs and microservices for cloud-based applications ensuring they meet high standards of reliability and security.
- Work with Azure Cloud services to deploy manage and scale applications efficiently maintaining the highest standards of performance and uptime.
- Collaborate closely with frontend developers product managers and stakeholders to align on delivering solutions that exceed expectations.
- Ensure that all backend systems are robust secure and highly available through comprehensive testing and monitoring.
- Champion best practices in automated testing CI/CD pipelines and code quality to ensure continuous delivery of high-quality software.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues across the backend stack always ensuring minimal disruption to operations.
- Lead code reviews mentor junior developers and foster a knowledge-sharing culture focused on improving both individual and team performance.
- Stay at the forefront of emerging technologies and trends bringing innovative solutions to the team while maintaining an eye for code quality and long-term maintainability.
Qualifications :
About You
- 6 years of experience in .NET/C# backend development with a strong commitment to writing clean efficient and well-structured code.
- Expertise in designing and building cloud-based APIs and microservices architectures with an emphasis on scalability and performance.
- Experience with Azure Cloud services (preferred but not mandatory) to build and deploy resilient cloud-based applications.
- A solid understanding of CI/CD pipelines automated testing and best practices in DevOps for efficient development and deployment processes.
- A passion for code quality and a strong advocate for best practicesyou will actively participate in setting and enforcing team coding standards.
- Experience in Agile environments contributing to iterative development cycles participating in sprint planning stand-ups and reviews.
- A proactive problem-solver able to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams to achieve project goals.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to clearly articulate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
