As the Oncology (Onco) Sub-chapter Lead you will be a member of the Diagnostics Solutions Program Leadership Team within the Clinical Operations Chapter Area of Clinical Development and Medical Affairs (CDMA).
In this position you will be the leading figure and key point of contact for Roche Diagnostics capabilities in Onco Sub-chapter. You will improve the teams overarching expertise based on current and upcoming needs to deliver on network priorities (e.g. upcoming portfolio investments with new technology skills needed).
You will be responsible for developing the capabilities of team members specialized in Oncology and solutions including their skills in evidence generation planning execution oversight and quality implementation of programs. As a line manager you will be responsible for designing and optimizing team members personal professional journey coaching your direct reports and liaising with the larger Chapter Area and other Sub-Chapter leaders to improve all assets associated with the sub-chapter such as process product standards tools etc.
You will partner primarily with Network Leads within CDMA and other internal/external Chapter Leaders or stakeholders. These interactions are intended to support bringing the right capabilities and expertise to the efforts & squads to deliver across Networks priorities (who organize around business value). You will play a key role in crafting and implementing key aspects of CDMAs mid- to long-term strategy and ultimately contribute to the overall Roche Diagnostics Vision.

Your responsibilities in this role will include:
Leverage a consolidated view of Sub-Chapter capabilities to establish best-in-class expertise in Program Leadership and represent it across functions and business networks.
Define andDevelopshort- and long-term capability needs for delivering on functional and network strategies.
Lead the advancement of best practices and thought leadership in evidence generation planning ensuring proactive and continuous improvement.
Maintain and grow partnerships and assets relevant to the Onco Sub-Chapter Clinical Operations Chapter and CDMA.
Promote flexibility and fluidity in deploying Sub-Chapter and Chapter resources to meet diverse and evolving business needs.
Actively coach and mentor team members fostering professional growth and career development.
Nurture a high-performing team of subject matter experts delivering top-tier expertise to support Roche Diagnostics goals.
Design and promote personal professional development journeys enabling resource flexibility and high engagement.
Collaboratively work with Network Leads Functional Partners and Sub-Chapter Leads to align capability buildingand deliverywith strategic directions.
Support the allocation of the right talent and expertise to squads decision-making bodies and functional initiatives.
Exhibit and model Agile Leadership behaviors fostering a culture of collaboration innovation and continuous learning.
Drive transformation by adopting new Agile ways of working including modern governance practices shared goals and outcomes-based planning.
Who you are:
Advanced degree in science or a related field; expertise inoncologyis a plus.
Proven track record in the diagnostics industry or in a related business function with deep knowledge of clinical evidence generation.
Visionary leadership and change management skills with a history of building agile high-performing teams.
Strong background in leadership coaching and people development in networked organizations.
Exceptional influencing negotiation and conflict management skills fostering partnerships and collaboration.
Demonstrated success in managing areas relevant to clinical evidence generation and driving innovative change.

The expected salary range for this position based on the primary location of Tucson Arizona is $163900 - $304500.00. Actual pay will be determined based on experience qualifications geographic location and other job-related factors permitted by law. A discretionary annual bonus may be available based on individual and Company performance. This position also qualifies for the benefits detailed at the link provided below.
