Job Description:
The successful candidate will provide Integrated Product Support (IPS) to support mission requirements at Naval Surface Warfare Center Port Hueneme Division (NSWC PHD). Under general supervision the candidate is responsible for the following types of functions:
Provide and/or oversee IPS for Navy Combat/Weapon Systems including:
1. Provide Program Management support.
2. Perform organizational studies and analysis to define Integrated Master Schedules (IMS) and systems engineering requirements.
3. Support engineering calendar and Division Project Office calendar updates.
4. Monitor and maintain action status of program requirements to include Division Integrated Product Support requirements planning schedules and data calls.
5. Provide program project data and system engineering management and analysis support in support of Gun Weapon System (GWS) Tomahawk Weapon Control System (TWCS) Harpoon Littoral Combat System (LCS) Seaframe (SF) and Mission Module (MM) and DDG 1000 as well as Command data calls and action. Tasking includes:
a.) Analyzing reviewing data to help provide recommendations to sponsor and fleet representatives and support the development of presentations schedules white papers strategies and execution plans for program reviews; address action items; plan coordinate and participate in meetings and conferences; and research collect and disseminate metric data.
6. Engineering support for configuration control of hardware and software products for existing configurations new releases change requests and reports of defects.
7. Review modify participate coordinate and conduct design reviews documentation software configuration management modification peer reviews in-process and program reviews and Local Configuration Control Board (LCCB) meetings.
8. Perform plan participate analyze prepare and provide subject matter expert assistance for desktop and physical configuration audits.
9. Support analysis and tracking of engineering inputs and metrics to support technical requirements and program reviews including:
a.) Performance and Organizational management metrics
b.) Program resource support plans
c.) Integrated Master Schedules
d.) Program Briefings and Technical papers
Minimum Qualifications:
Must be able to obtain and maintain a minimum of a Secret clearance
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship now or at any time in the future an active U.S. Security Clearance level Secret
High School Diploma or equivalent
5 or more years in coordinating planning tracking and scheduling in a logistician operations or analyst role.
High level of attention to detail and accuracy
Experience utilizing Asset Tracker and PARTS Databases and Microsoft Office (Office Word Excel PowerPoint Project Access JIRA)
Preferred Qualifications:
Active Secret clearance
Experience supporting US Navy Logistics efforts
Experience with Integrated Product Support Elements
Experience with US NAVY Combat/Weapon Systems
Working knowledge of: Naval Enterprise Resource Planning (N-ERP) Navy Data Environment (NDE) One Touch Configuration Data Managers Database Open Architecture (CDMD-OA) Interactive Computer Aided Provisioning System (ICAPS)
Security Clearance:
Applicants must have an active security clearance and/or the ability to obtain and maintain a US government security clearance as specified in the minimum qualifications. Selected candidates will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements to obtain a DoD government-granted security clearance. Individuals will be subject to a background investigation including but not limited to criminal history employment and education verification drug testing and creditworthiness.
