Job Description
About the role:
The successful candidate will support operations in the Batch & Furnace Basement area with responsibilities including:
- Maintaining cleanliness and organization of the assigned areas
- Assisting the maintenance team with routine and ad hoc tasks
- Performing additional duties as assigned by supervisors or team leads including tasks outside the immediate scope of operations and maintenance
- Adhering strictly to all safety policies and procedures
- Upholding high standards of General Manufacturing Practices (GMP)
Qualifications :
Key Requirements:
- Must be fluent in English.
- Must be able to pass specific mathematical and communications tests.
- Applicant(s) must have a good work record which demonstrates good attendance and reliability.
- Must be physically fit and able to withstand a high-temperature work environment and have no issue with vertical heights.
- Lift Truck Driving Certification is preferred.
- Training will be provided including the LTO function of this job to those who may require it.
- Applicant(s) will be required to pass a test at the completion of training demonstrating the ability to perform the tasks trained in.
