What you will do:
As a Pre-Treat Process Technician you will be responsible for our Paint Pre-treatment and Wastewater process. This includes neutralizing mixed acids coming from our manufacturing process for discharge permits. You will gain experience working on ultra-pure water generation equipment to include pre-treatment equipment reverse osmosis supply ultra-pure water for our manufacturing processes. You will also gain experience on recovering and recycling process waste using multimedia and carbon filters along with reverse osmosis systems to help us meet our sustainability goals.
What you have:
Paint experience
Ability to sit or stand for prolonged periods
Ability to perform repetitive operations
Ability to lift up to 35 lbs.
Top candidates will also have:
Prior pre-treat exposure/training
Knowledge or experience working with water system wastewater manufacturing or mechanical equipment
Knowledge or experience in the following areas: plumbing pump repair plant operations or maintenance
Perform calibrations and validations of sensors including pH and conductivity meters
Data collection and analysis
Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.
What you will get:
2nd Shift: $21.76 / hour(includes 8%-night shift premium)
- Monday-Thursday 4 day/10-hour shift schedule
- 5 pm 3:30 am
**Role requires overtime as needed to support business needs**

Summary Pay Range:
$20.15 - $25.15Compensation and benefits offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors job level market locationjob-related knowledge skills individual performance and experience. Please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Caterpillar.
