Spare Parts and Warranty Materials Buyer (SRS)

As aSpare Parts and Warranty Materials Buyer you will be responsible for sourcing purchasing and managinginventory of spare parts and service-related materials. This role ensures timely procurement to supportmaintenance repair and after-sales operations while optimizing cost quality and supplierperformance.
Key Activities
  • Identify and evaluate suppliers for spare parts and service materials.
  • Negotiate pricing delivery terms and contracts with vendors.
  • Issue purchase orders and track deliveries to ensure timely receipt.
  • Monitor stock levels and forecast demand for spare parts.
  • Coordinate with warehouse and maintenance teams to ensure availability.
  • Manage non-conforming material returns and replacements with suppliers.
  • Maintain strong relationships with key suppliers.
  • Conduct supplier performance reviews and resolve issues related to quality or delivery.
  • Ensure all procurement activities comply with company policies and industry regulations.
  • Maintain accurate records of purchases warranties and supplier communications.
  • Work closely with maintenance engineering and finance teams to align procurement withoperational needs.
  • Keep record of relevant documentation for internal and external audits.
Qualifications
  • Bachelors degree in Supply Chain Management Business Administration Engineering orrelated field.
  • 2 years of experience in procurement preferably in spare parts or service materials in the railindustry.
  • Experience in automotive manufacturing or industrial sectors.
  • Familiarity with field service processes and supplier quality assurance.
  • Analytical mindset with attention to detail.
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Knowledge of inventory management and procurement best practices.
  • Must be fluent in English (both verbal and written). German is a plus!
