Job Description
- Identify and evaluate suppliers for spare parts and service materials.
- Negotiate pricing delivery terms and contracts with vendors.
- Issue purchase orders and track deliveries to ensure timely receipt.
- Monitor stock levels and forecast demand for spare parts.
- Coordinate with warehouse and maintenance teams to ensure availability.
- Manage non-conforming material returns and replacements with suppliers.
- Maintain strong relationships with key suppliers.
- Conduct supplier performance reviews and resolve issues related to quality or delivery.
- Ensure all procurement activities comply with company policies and industry regulations.
- Maintain accurate records of purchases warranties and supplier communications.
- Work closely with maintenance engineering and finance teams to align procurement withoperational needs.
- Keep record of relevant documentation for internal and external audits.
- Bachelors degree in Supply Chain Management Business Administration Engineering orrelated field.
- 2 years of experience in procurement preferably in spare parts or service materials in the railindustry.
- Experience in automotive manufacturing or industrial sectors.
- Familiarity with field service processes and supplier quality assurance.
- Analytical mindset with attention to detail.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills.
- Proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Knowledge of inventory management and procurement best practices.
- Must be fluent in English (both verbal and written). German is a plus!
