Requirement: OSD Senior Legislative Specialist
Job Description: Forge requires a Senior Legislative Analyst to become part of a dynamic team supporting OUSD(P).
The Senior Legislative Analyst will hold overall ownership of Congressional reporting requirements lead coordination monitoring and tracking of proposed legislation identify potential provisions in legislation that would affect OUSD(P) issues and assist in Hearing preparation and follow-up. The Senior Legislative Analyst will liaise with OUSD (Comptroller) (OUSD(C)) and Office of the Assistant Secretary of Defense for Legislative Affairs (OASD (LA)) staffs on legislative matters and prepare updates to OUSD(P) leadership on legislative developments among other responsibilities. The ideal candidate would thrive in a fast-paced environment with the ability to prioritize tasks work collaboratively with teammates and have ten or more years experience in legislative affairs with government agencies preferably with the U.S. Department of Defense
