We are looking for an experienced and certified Cloud Architect with a strong background in Microsoft Azure to design secure scalable cloud infrastructures. The ideal candidate will combine deep technical expertise in cloud security architecture a collaborative mindset and a passion for mentoring others in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement secure and scalable cloud architectures with a focus on Microsoft Azure.
- Define and enforce robust cloud security policies controls and compliance frameworks.
- Leverage Azure-native tools (e.g. ARM templates Azure Bicep Verified Modules Landing Zone Accelerators) to build secure infrastructure-as-code (IaC) environments.
- Provide guidance and implementation support for hybrid infrastructure combining private and public cloud platforms.
- Collaborate with DevOps engineering security and compliance teams to ensure security and performance in all deployments.
- Lead security design reviews risk assessments and mitigation planning.
- Share knowledge and mentor team members supporting their development and continuous learning.
- Stay current with emerging threats technologies and best practices in cloud security.
Required Qualifications:
- 5 years of experience in cloud security architecture and design.
- Excellent understanding of Microsoft Azure including core services and security features.
- Azure certifications (e.g. Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert Azure Security Engineer Associate) are mandatory.
- Strong hands-on experience in infrastructure design across private and public cloud environments.
- Proficiency in infrastructure-as-code (IaC) using ARM templates Bicep Terraform or similar tools.
- Familiarity with Azure Governance Azure Policy RBAC and Blueprint designs.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience working with Azure Landing Zones and implementing Enterprise-scale architectures.
- Understanding of software engineering principles and modern DevOps practices.
- Experience with cloud-native security tools SIEM solutions and incident response workflows.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills; capable of working independently or within cross-functional teams.
- A knowledge-sharing mindset with the ability to mentor and uplift team capability.
