The Mission

CTO Payments & Settlement Services (PSS) is looking for a Customer Journey Expert in the role of Product Owner to strengthen the Payments Order Management capabilities in ING. INGs PSS is dedicated to develop and expand INGs state of the art payments platforms and settlements services. PSS focusses on delivering payments and settlement services meeting the expectations of INGs business lines and beyond whilst ensuring the basics: safe secure compliant and reliable. The PSS is an independent unit within INGs CTO domain reporting directly into INGs Chief Technology Officer.

Your role will be fully focused on order management area The Product Owner will be responsible for the order management functions when onboarding payment services into the PSS target solutions. The services include all SEPA products as well as International Payments. The Product Owner translates the impact of new payment regulations or market standards into requirements and solutions.

As a Customer Journey Expert you will be working with a strong focus on fulfilling the role of a Product Owner/Squad Master for one or more squads in the area of Payments Order management. You will join our business squad a team of CJEs responsible for managing our end-to-end services in Order management responsible for all the service Baseline and Change activities.

Your day to day:

• Translate the purpose the why your business & product knowledge to the squad(s).

• Work with your squad(s) on a daily basis when needed to optimize the sprint outcome.

• Improve the squads predictability optimize the squads velocity and safeguard the squads well-being.

• Closely collaborate with other Customer Journey Experts and Product Owners in the area and Tribes translating the voice of the customer business and IT needs into requirements supporting value-based delivery.

• Support your Product Lead (PL) in the responsibility to manage the overall product backlog & priorities in the Order Management Area in PSS.

• Drive the Quarterly Business Review (QBR) to help define product developments for the products and applications in your scope.

• Apply your experience in supporting to build and manage the products with an end-to-end mindset including the needed COPAF (non-IT) design and implementation of business operations and services.

• Ensure our license to operate as a Bank by secure and flawless 24/7 operations whilst keeping strong focus on regulatory compliance.

• Together with your local or international co-located squad(s) you manage the Product Backlog.

• You are a skilled and Certified Product Owner with proven experience with the Agile way of working in the role of a Product Owner. Experience in scaled agile and multiple DevOps teams working together is a pre requisite
