Job Description

Are you ready to make a real impact by shaping the foundation of a growing international retail organisation At JYSK we are looking for a Lead Software Engineer to join our Foundational Core Team.

In this role you will help set the technical direction of our Java platform drive consistency across teams and contribute to a streamlined and modern development experience.

WHAT YOUR NEXT JOB WILL BE ABOUT
Your tasks and responsibilities in the job include:

  • leading the adoption of new technologies and aligning solutions with our strategy
  • creating and maintaining coding guidelines including CheckStyle and SpotBug plugins to support consistent development
  • building and updating shared libraries to reduce duplication and speed up delivery
  • improving development tools and maintaining core infrastructure
  • supporting agile teams by offering guidance and sharing best practices
  • suggesting and developing new tools to improve our ways of working
