The Role:

  • Were looking for a self-motivated superstar Pharmacist to join the amazing Pocketpills team on a maternity leave contract.


Job Duties:

  • Provide virtual consultation including minor ailment assessments and answer medication-related questions through various mediums efficiently and courteously
  • Perform clinical verifications for prescriptions on time to ensure efficient operations
  • Conduct technical checks on medication orders in an efficient manner
  • Provide coaching and guidance to pharmacy team members to improve the pharmacy processes
  • Partner with pharmacy manager and Operations management to review processes regularly to ensure optimal efficiency effectiveness and embrace continuous improvement
  • Review escalated issues for resolution. Interface with patients and team members as needed to resolve
  • Ensure compliance with applicable Federal and Provincial laws rules and regulations
  • Do anything in your capacity to make sure that the patient is never out of medications.


Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelors Degree in Pharmacy or PharmD.
  • Registered part A pharmacist in good standing with the BC College of Pharmacists
  • Passion for providing optimal patient-centered care to all patients
  • Ability to achieve results with a strong sense of urgency and a can-do attitude.
  • Ability to learn and handle new software platforms.
  • Detailed oriented team player and positive attitude.
  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to maintain effective interpersonal relationships.
  • Ability to adapt to needs of business by assisting in different tasks in an efficient manner
  • Strong time management and organizational skills to meet tight deadlines.
  • Stellar verbal and written communication skills



Status: Part time - on a Maternity Leave Replacement Contract.

Availability: 2-3 days a Week. No Weekends.


The annual compensation for this part time maternity leave position is based on a number of factors and may vary depending on job-related knowledge skills experience and alignment to the market.
