Job Description
- Compliant with GIRM guidelines about the role of music in the Holy Mass.
- Able to lead music and worship confidently in different styles
- Collaborative team member/servant
- Excellent communication skills.
- BA in Music or equivalent preferred
- Excellent piano and organ skills
- The ability to sing and direct musical ensembles
- Understand and promote the mission of St. Louis with direction from the pastor
- Coordinate music leadership and support for Sunday and Holy Day liturgies
- Recruit and train individuals to participate in the music ministry.
- Facilitate regular or occasional rehearsals for instruction
- Maintain membership in auxiliary ensembles as deemed necessary and efficient
