Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Companion Animal Vaccine to lead our efforts in developing and managing our companion animal vaccine portfolio. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in veterinary medicine immunology and vaccine development with a proven track record of successful product launches and market penetration. This role requires exceptional marketing acumen and the ability to collaborate effectively with both internal teams and external stakeholders to drive growth and innovation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development and execution of the strategic plan for the companion animal vaccine portfolio.

  • Oversee the research and development of new vaccines ensuring they meet regulatory requirements and industry standards.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including R&D marketing sales and regulatory affairs to ensure the successful launch and commercialization of new products.

  • Develop and implement marketing strategies to promote the companion animal vaccine portfolio leveraging market insights and competitive analysis.

  • Build and maintain relationships with key opinion leaders veterinary professionals and industry stakeholders.

  • Provide leadership and mentorship to the vaccine development team fostering a culture of innovation and excellence.

  • Manage the budget and resources for the companion animal vaccine portfolio ensuring efficient and effective use of funds.

  • Engage with external partners including regulatory bodies industry associations and research institutions to advance the companys vaccine initiatives.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors Degree required Masters Degree/MBA preferred

  • Minimum of 10 years of marketing sales and/or Animal Health Operations including in-depth knowledge of the market companion animal products and competitive environment

  • Knowledge of biological/vaccine market preferred

  • Minimum of 5 years of people management experience required

  • Excellent communication leadership and project management skills.

  • Proven ability to develop and execute marketing strategies that drive product adoption and market growth.

  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and external partners.

  • Proven track record of successful product launches and market penetration.

U.S. Hybrid Work Model

The salary range for this role is

$187000.00 - $294400.00

This is the lowest to highest salary we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. An employees position within the salary range will be based on several factors including but not limited to relevant education qualifications certifications experience skills geographic location government requirements and business or organizational needs.

The successful candidate will be eligible for annual bonus and long-term incentive if applicable.
