You will be updated with latest job alerts via emailWe are seeking a dependable and experienced Patient Care Technician (PCT) to join our Operating Room team. This multifaceted role supports both clinical care and logistical operations in a dynamic fast-paced orthopedic surgical environment. The ideal candidate is proactive detail-oriented and excels in a highly collaborative surgical setting.
Assist with patient transport positioning and preparation before and after surgery.
Provide basic patient care under RN supervision (e.g. hygiene assistance vital signs).
Ensure patient safety and comfort during pre-op and post-op transitions.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the operating rooms and equipment.
Assist with turning over ORs between cases including waste removal and linen changes.
Stock and prepare OR suites with necessary surgical supplies and equipment.
Safely lift and transfer patients using proper techniques and equipment.
Set up and maintain anesthesia machines and equipment before during and after procedures.
Prepare and stock anesthesia carts.
Assist anesthesia providers with airway management equipment setup and other procedural prep.
Ensure compliance with infection control and safety standards in anesthesia work areas.
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required (or ability to obtain upon hire).
Ability to lift transport and position patients safely.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Excellent attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
