Job Description

Introduction to the Job

Over the past decade ASML has experienced exponential growth. Looking ahead we anticipate continued expansion that will require a significant transformation of our supply chain. To address this strategic challenge we have established theSupply Chain Transformationdepartment within theStrategic Sourcing & Procurementorganization. This department is composed of a high-performing team of experienced professionals from diverse business functions who lead transformation engagements and change programs with critical suppliers.

Role & Responsibilities

TheEngagement Managerplays a pivotal role in guiding and steering cross-functional teams to achieve program goals and deliver measurable benefits throughout the full program lifecyclefrom Initiation through Design Build and Deployment.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading high-visibility transformation programs that drive step-change performance improvements at critical suppliers in a fact-based and collaborative manner.

  • Creating clarity and coaching both ASML and supplier teams in diagnosing performance gaps identifying improvement opportunities planning workstreams and supporting implementation through to value realization.

  • Collaborating with domain experts and analysts to ensure successful program execution.

  • Example transformation programs include:

    • End-to-end value chain optimization

    • Procurement organization transformation

    • Capacity estimation and ASML demand mapping

    • Strategic due diligence for ASML Supplier Cluster Strategy teams

    • Facilitating fact-based negotiations between ASML and suppliers

    • Structuring the New Product Introduction (NPI) process at suppliers

Education & Experience

  • Masters degree in Management Business Operations Research Supply Chain Engineering (Industrial Mechanical Electrical Physics) or a related field required.

  • Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience in the Semiconductor Industrial Aerospace & Defense or Automotive industries.

  • Proven ability to lead in high-visibility roles structure complex programs and guide teams toward actionable outcomes.

  • Strong business acumen with the ability to translate analysis into compelling executive-level presentations.

  • Demonstrated experience engaging with senior stakeholders including CEOs COOs and VPs across supplier organizations.

  • Proven track record in assessing organizational performance across Strategy Cost Quality Logistics Technology and Sustainability.

  • Ideal candidates may come from backgrounds in management consulting operations consulting or auditing across various industries.

Skills

  • Tools & Methodologies- Lean Six Sigma or similar continuous improvement frameworks ERP and supply chain planning tools (e.g. SAP Oracle) Project management tools (e.g. MS Project Smartsheet Jira) Advanced Excel and data visualization (e.g. Power BI Tableau)

  • Interpersonal and Communication- Executive-level presentation skills Negotiation and conflict resolution and Collaborative Problem-Solving

  • Analytical and Technical Expertise- Operational Efficiency Improvement Supply Chain Transformation Risk Assessment and Mitigation and Data-driven Decision Making

  • Leadership & Program Management- Cross-functional team guidance Change Management Stakeholder Engagement Executive Communication

Other Information

  • Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time (typically every other week for four days at supplier sites).

  • Most travel is domestic within the U.S. with occasional international trips to Europe and Asia.

This position requires access to controlled technology as defined in the United States Export Administration Regulations (15 C.F.R. 730 et seq.). Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to access such controlled technology prior to beginning work. Business demands may require ASML to proceed with candidates who are immediately eligible to access controlled technology.
