Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) or Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) to join our dynamic Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) team in Firtchburg MA. As a vital member of our mental health services you will provide intensive short-term therapeutic interventions to individuals requiring a higher level of care than traditional outpatient services but who do not require 24-hour inpatient care.

In this role you will have the opportunity to make a significant impact on the lives of our clients by delivering evidence-based treatments facilitating group therapy sessions and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care. Your expertise will be instrumental in helping clients develop coping skills manage symptoms and work towards their recovery goals in a supportive and structured environment.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
1. Active LICSW or LMHC license in the state of Massachusetts.
2. Minimum of 3 years of post-licensure experience in mental health treatment with at least 1 year of experience in a Partial Hospitalization Program or similar intensive outpatient setting.
3. Strong knowledge of evidence-based practices for treating various mental health disorders including DBT CBT and ACT.
4. Excellent group facilitation skills and the ability to engage diverse client populations.
5. Demonstrated experience in crisis intervention and risk assessment.
6. Strong clinical documentation skills and proficiency in electronic health record systems.
7. Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced multidisciplinary team environment.
8. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with clients and their families.
9. Cultural competence and sensitivity to the needs of diverse populations.
10. Commitment to ongoing professional development and staying current with emerging trends in PHP treatment.
Preferred Qualifications:
1. Additional certifications in specialized treatment modalities (e.g. EMDR DBT-Linehan Board Certification).
2. Experience working with specific populations such as adolescents older adults or individuals with co-occurring disorders.
3. Bilingual skills particularly in Spanish are highly valued.
