Description
In This Role Your Responsibilities Will Be:
  • Investigate and Troubleshoot: Proactively address hardware and network issues on the shop floor ensuring minimal disruption to manufacturing processes.
  • Engage with Shop Floor Personnel: Regularly communicate with machine operators technicians and other shop floor staff to understand IT challenges and gather feedback.
  • Collaborate with Digital Operations: Work closely with the Digital Operations team to understand and implement digital solutions that enhance manufacturing efficiency.
  • Support Local IT Initiatives: Assist the local IT team in various projects ranging from equipment setup to software updates ensuring alignment with plant operations.
  • Documentation: Maintain and update IT documentation ensuring that any changes or updates to hardware or software are accurately recorded.

Who You Are:
  • You like to solve problems work with people in a manufacturing environment and are going to school for an IT or related degree.

For This Role You Will Need:
  • Currently enrolled in an Information Technology Computer Science Engineering or related degree program.
  • Basic understanding of IT hardware networking and software.

Preferred Qualifications That Set You Apart:
  • Possess problem-solving skills and a keen interest in technology applications within manufacturing.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work in a collaborative environment.
  • Comfortable working in a manufacturing setting and interacting with shop floor personnel.
