How will you make an impact in this role
The Loyalty & Rewards team is goaled with increased customer engagement through our industry leading loyalty program Membership Rewards while balancing the program economics
The Manager Membership Rewards will be an integral member of a dynamic team charged with business partnerships strategy and managing program economics that will drive step-change and sustainable growth for Amex.
Principal accountabilities include:
- Developing the strategy and approach of the Rewards teams mandate that is grounded in customers preferences analytics and program economics management.
- Leveraging data and analytics to understand and engage new and existing customers throughout the customer lifecycle.
- Constantly monitoring competitive landscape and customer feedback to identify opportunities.
- Spearheading and managing external business relationships and partnerships to keep our rewards relevant with customer preferences.
- Drive loyalty spend customer satisfaction share of wallet engagement and redemption of rewards through relevant rewards capabilities and marketing.
- Preparing annual forecasts and monthly reporting on the performance of the portfolio.
- Creating a high commitment work environment where people are motivated and encouraged to achieve through empowerment and development.
- Aligning with central teams in both international and U.S. markets to leverage best practices and capabilities.
- Building and maintaining relationships with key internal stakeholders like Finance Controllership Legal Corporate and Audit teams.
- Leading a high performing team.
Minimum Qualifications
- Strong Experience in using analytics to find insights to drive strategy and execution.
- Ability to motivate inspire and coach the team.
- University Degree in Marketing / Business / Commerce or equivalent combination of education and business experience.
- Credit Card experience ideally in the loyalty/rewards/benefits space.
- Experience in managing external business partnerships and relationships.
- Progressive development in analyzing business opportunities driving recommendations and implementations.
- Proven ability to effectively manage relationships and influence without direct authority.
- Pro-active self-starter and strong driver of results and speed to market focus.
- Demonstrated oral and written communication skills with emphasis on proposal development and presentation to internal and external contacts up to senior management levels.
- Demonstrated multi-tasking attention to detail and prioritization skills in a demanding environment.
- A reputation for personal excellence creativity and curiosity.
