1:1 Part-Time Support Staff Needed - Liverpool NY (GC-JC)

Exceptional Family Resources seeks passionate Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to empower adults with developmental disabilities to achieve greater independence and live fulfilling lives. At EFR the focus is on providing personalized support and fostering a stable environment where everyone can thrive.
Responsibilities:
Support Daily Living Skills: Assist individuals with activities like personal care dressing and meal preparation.
Encourage Independence: Guide individuals in developing new skills for work and daily life including personal care and household management.
Facilitate Community Engagement: Help individuals connect with their community through outings and activities that foster social connections.
Provide Emotional Support: Offer companionship encouragement and emotional reassurance helping individuals stay positive and engaged in their recovery.
Work with a Team: Collaborate with family members and other professionals to ensure seamless and effective rehabilitation according to each individuals personalized care plan.
Hours: Monday - Friday 4pm -10pm Possible weekends.
Pay Rate: $21.00/hr
Qualifications:
18 years of age or older.
High school diploma or GED.
A current non-provisional drivers license in good standing.
A desire to work with and support individuals recovering from developmental disabilities.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with individuals families and co-workers.
The ability and willingness to work weekends.
