Job Description
Saint Leo the Great Catholic School is seeking an enthusiastic individual to serve as our music teacher. Candidates will possess a deep devotion to the Catholic faith and love working with children fostering and strengthening students relationship with Christ. Music teachers are responsible for creating a well-rounded comprehensive instructional program. The teacher is responsible for instruction on Diocesan music curriculum and objectives which includes leading and preparing students for various grade-level performances. The teacher will prepare lesson plans and engage students in performance composition music theory critique and culture across all grades K-8. Ideal candidates have a deep devotion to the Catholic faith strong classroom management skills and practice communicating with parents. We seek a dynamic teacher who inspires students and who works collaboratively and creatively with colleagues in various curricular areas and divisions. Candidates should be passionate about teaching and have a love for the students.
