Company:
Boeing Aerospace OperationsBoeing Global Services (BGS) U.S. Army/Marine Corps & Special Operations/Missions is seeking a Project Management Specialist to lead the Special Operations Forces (SOF) mission at our Fort Walton Beach (FWB) FL site.
Position Responsibilities:
- Plans integrates and leads programs in support of the Senior PM SOF programs
- Maintains active relationships with USG (SOF) and Commercial customers
- Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches products and processes impacting programs
- Works closely with multiple vertical and horizontal functions to successfully execute programs
- Establishes budgets schedules and performance requirements and leads teams in attaining them
- Applies knowledge of Program Management Best Practices to direct program activities
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
- 10 years experience and a broad understanding of the SOCOM mission and organization or Air Force or Army Special Operations Maintenance experience
- Aircraft Maintenance Experience C-130 platform
- Knowledge and experience with the Proposal Preparation process (Basis of Estimates (BOE) spreadsheet/e-workbooks)
- Knowledge and experience with Common Automated Procurement Request System (CAPRS) CMPro Product Lifecycle and Configuration Management Experience (a system/tool used by FWB programs to track/manage all workorders engineering drawings documents etc)
- Boeing Opportunity Risk and Issue System (BORIS) or RIO Experience
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
- Program Management Professional (PMP) Certification
- Experience with SOF ground vehicles
- Working knowledge of the C-130 Interactive Electronic Technical Manual
- Earned Value Management knowledge and experience
- FWB Manufacturing Process knowledge and experience
