Job Description

Job Summary:


The Liquid Measurement Technician I must be team-oriented proactive and goal-driven. This position is responsible for operating various types of liquid provers without direct daily supervision. All work is performed under the general supervision of the Operations Manager.


Responsibilities:

  • Create and maintain job tickets;
  • Operate various types of liquid provers with a general understanding of all associated equipment;
  • Obtain spot and composite samples transport hazardous and/or non-hazardous materials;
  • Determine API gravity and S&W;
  • Troubleshoot and repair measurement-related equipment;
  • Maintenance of tools and equipment;
  • Complete all assigned tasks under supervision;
  • This is a very safety-sensitive position and accuracy and dependability are critical for the success of the role;
  • Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
  • GED or High School diploma;
  • Maintain a DOT Certification and/or CDL A License (No Restrictions) as deemed necessary;
  • Maintain good standing status of OQSG quals: CT039 CT271 & CT60;
  • Maintain required State measurement certifications and quals;
  • Consistent data management and reporting task(s) completion;
  • 90 days minimum liquid measurement experience;
  • Must be proficient with and able to perform all Liquid Measurement Helper Technician primary tasks as defined by SPLs Liquid Measurement Technician Skillsets and Career Path under limited supervision;
  • Must become proficient in 1 ancillary skill and 1 added value skill as defined by SPLs Liquid Measurement Technician Skillsets and Career Path;
  • Must have intermediate knowledge of AGA/GPA/API Measurement Guidelines BLM and State regulatory requirements.

Education:

High school diploma or equivalent.

Travel Requirements:

This position requires local travel and some out-of-town stays.

Work Schedule:

This position will work 8 hours Monday-Friday in our Williston ND and SPL surrounding client locations. This position is subject to overtime availability to meet deadlines.
