Bank Paediatric Staff Nurse (Skyline & Outpatient ward)

Cromwell Hospital - London SW5 0TU

(5 mins walk from Earls Court underground or 7 mins walk from Gloucester Road underground.)

Paying 32.00 per hour

Role Overview

The role is based at our internationally renowned private Cromwell hospital which is in the South Kensington area of London. Our Paediatric Outpatient Department has an average of 80 patients a day covering most of the specialties. Our Paediatric ward consists of an 11-beds which could expand as well. These are all short-stay patients from medical cases to surgical cases such as orthopaedics ENT urology.

We are looking for a Bank Paediatric Staff Nurse who wants to work as part of the multi-disciplinary team delivering a high standard of holistic family centred care to children and their families.As a Bank Paediatric Staff Nurse you will be providing the highest standard of nursing care through ongoing assessment planning implementation and evaluation of safe and effective care.

What youll do:

  • Assess plan implement and evaluate individualised quality patient care.
  • Ensure nursing practice is of the highest standard in line with Cromwell Hospital Policies CQC requirements and NMC standards
  • Respect peoples rights to privacy dignity and confidentiality.
  • Work with the multi-disciplinary team and collaboratively ensure appropriate care is provided.
  • Participate in team and ward meetings.
  • Supply and administer medication safely in line with hospital policy.
  • Assess and support patients with their adherence and understanding of their medication.
  • Be responsible for and demonstrate personal professional development maintain up to date clinical skills and ensure mandatory training is always current.
  • Keep clear and accurate records following NMC standards of documentation.

  • Ability to complete drug calculations
