As a Building Engineer youre a leader and mentor in our community ensuring that our property operates at peak performance and exceeds the expectations of our residents. Youre not just fixing things; youre proactively preventing issues optimizing systems and leading a team to maintain the highest standards of excellence.

- Ensure the property inside and out is always immaculate and reflects the luxury standards of our community!
- Conduct routine inspections to identify and address potential issues before they become problems!
- Participate in the on-call rotation responding to after-hour emergencies with a can-do attitude!

- Manage the maintenance budget with a keen eye tracking expenses and identifying opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements!
- Oversee the procurement of maintenance materials and supplies ensuring we have the right resources at the right time!
- Lead and mentor Assistant Building Engineers fostering their growth and expertise!
You are a Versatile Pro!
- Oversee the operation and maintenance of all building systems ensuring they function flawlessly and efficiently!
- Develop and implement preventative maintenance programs that extend the life and performance of our valuable assets!

Key Skills and Abilities Needed to Succeed in This Role:
- 6-7 years of experience in building maintenance and engineering with a focus on luxury high-rise properties.
- Advanced knowledge of building systems including plumbing electrical HVAC and fire safety.
- NFPA 25 and EPA 608 or similar certifications for fire suppression system and HVAC maintenance.
- Proven experience in responding to resident service requests and performing a wide range of maintenance and repair tasks.
- In-depth knowledge of OSHA safety rules and regulations demonstrating a commitment to maintaining a safe and compliant work environment.
- Excellent customer service and a positive resident experience focused mentality with the ability to interact professionally and effectively with discerning residents.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team demonstrating initiative flexibility and a commitment to achieving results.
- Strong communication interpersonal and problem-solving skills with the ability to effectively address resident concerns and resolve maintenance issues.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively ensuring that all maintenance and engineering operations are completed efficiently and on schedule.
- Must have a valid drivers license with no major infractions in the last 12 months.
