Job duties: General Cleaning for a facility which offers rehabilitation skilled nursing and assisted living services in Austintown Ohio. Perform assigned tasks on a timely and consistent basis following the buildings task and frequency schedule. Tasks will include the following but are not limited to:
- Sweep or vacuum and mop hard surface floors and vacuum carpeted floors.
- Dust work surfaces other furniture and surfaces
- Clean restrooms including toilets urinals partitions sinks counters mirrors floors and walls.
- Replenish restroom dispensers with paper products and soap.
- Clean entrance glass and other interior glass.
- Work effectively with other team members.
- Remove trash from containers and replace torn or soiled liners. Report building and equipment maintenance issues to supervisor.
- Utilizes protective gear in all appropriate functions.
- Housekeepers will also be cross trained to do Laundry Attending as well. Laundry Workers perform a variety of tasks on varying shifts including collecting and sorting soiled linen loading and unloading machines and folding clean linen. Operates commercial washers and dryers.
Responsibilities include counting and recording the linen processed each day making proper deliveries to units and cleaning and sanitizing the work area including machines worktables and sorting area.
Performs laundry activities within well established guidelines to ensure that quality standards safety guidelines and customer service expectations are met.
The overwhelming majority of the laundry workers job is performed while standing walking and bending.
The laundry worker is responsible for satisfactory and timely completion of assigned linen etc. according to schedule.
Reports equipment/cleaning product needs and or malfunctions to supervisor in a timely fashion.
Is responsible for the safe and proper use of detergents and adheres to all safety precautions as well as reporting building and equipment maintenance issues to supervisor.
Work involves pulling and pushing carrying weight up to 50 pounds twisting bending and reaching from floor to waist height and from waist to chest level.
The laundry worker consistently embodies the characteristics necessary to drive the Companys Purpose Vision and Values.
- Must be reliable.
- Physically able to be on your feet during an entire shift; walking bending stooping twisting reaching pulling pushing kneeling and crouching.
- Must have a valid drivers license and ability to arrive to work on time consistently.
- Must be able to pass a drug and full background screening.
- No Minimum education requirement.
Hours: 8:00a-4:30p Full Time and Part Time now available!
Pay: Starting at $15.00 per hour paid biweekly
