Company:
The Boeing CompanyBoeing Defense Space and Security (BDS) has an exciting opportunity for a Product & Service Quality Manager to support the KC-46 Quality Team in Tukwila WA!
Position Responsibilities:
- Manages employees who evaluate and ensure that products services and processes comply with customer contract requirements engineering requirements company procedures and government regulations
- Develops and executes business plans policies and procedures and develops organizational and technical strategies to improve performance
- Provides education and coaching on the Quality System.
- Acquires and manages resources for a team that leads process improvements
- Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers stakeholders peers partners suppliers and direct reports
- Manages develops and motivates employees
- Develop and present briefs with customers and stakeholders
- Must be able to work variable shifts shift will be determined at the time of the offer
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
- Bachelors Degree or higher (Engineering or STEM preferred)
- 5 years of experience in Quality Management Systems (QMS)
- 3 years of experience leading cross-functional teams in a manufacturing environment
- 3 years of experience using Systematic Problem Solving
- Ability to work variable shifts which include working days nights weekends and/or holidays
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
- FAA Repair Station Experience
- Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) License
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
- Excellent communication and teaming skills
