Job Description
Reporting to the Executive Director of Enrollment the Director of Undergraduate Recruitment provides strategic leadership and oversight for the undergraduate admissions recruitment team. This role is instrumental in driving undergraduate enrollment initiatives expanding the universitys visibility among high school and community college populations and ensuring effective territory management by the recruitment team. The Director collaborates closely with University Marketing and Communications to design and implement targeted print and digital media campaigns. Additionally the position works with internal and external stakeholders to set and achieve enrollment goals in alignment with the universitys strategic and enrollment management plans.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
Provide leadership supervision and professional development to the undergraduate recruitment team. Manage daily operations related to domestic undergraduate recruitment with an emphasis on professionalism and exceptional customer service. Oversee all prospective student interactions including communication travel and recruitment events. Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders including vendors community partners and high school and college personnel. Assist in the planning and management of the recruitment budget. Develop implement and maintain policies and procedures related to undergraduate enrollment. Compile analyze and report weekly monthly and annual recruitment and enrollment data; prepare internal and external reports as requested by senior leadership. Support and oversee student search programs for both first-year and transfer populations. Monitor territory activity and ensure timely updates on applicant trends and processing reports. Engage with the Texas Wesleyan community to build awareness and accessibility among prospective students. Recruit hire train and supervise recruitment staff. Perform other duties as assigned by the Undergraduate Admissions Office
