Job Description
Your role is that of an EHS & Sustainability Support Executive
Department: Corporate EHS & Sustainability
Experience: 3 years in EHS & Sustainability within Engineering/Aluminium/Chemical/Automobile industries
Qualification: Graduate in Science / Diploma or Engineering with specialization in Environment Science/Safety/Sustainability (preferred)
Role Summary
Assist the Corporate EHS & Sustainability Team in:
Implementing EHS & Sustainability strategies
Ensuring compliance with SEBI BRSR GRI ESG rating agencies (S&P CSA CDP EcoVadis)
Supporting regulatory compliance reporting and data consolidation
Conducting audits trainings awareness programs and engaging with stakeholders
Key Responsibilities
Strategic & Legal
Develop and implement EHS policies and SOPs
Vet contracts for EHS risk clauses
Advise on regulatory frameworks ESG risk management and compliance
ESG & Reporting
Consolidate and prepare ESG and Sustainability reports (SEBI BRSR GRI)
Respond to ESG rating agency assessments (S&P CDP EcoVadis)
Administer ESG tools and manage MIS systems
Compliance & Documentation
Monitor EPR waste groundwater STP/ETP and ZLD compliance
Ensure legal filings and environmental clearances (CTE CTO EC)
Track GHG emissions LCA EPD and green product certifications
Stakeholder Engagement
Liaise with internal teams external consultants public authorities
Conduct training and sensitization programs for staff contractors and partners
Coordinate internal audits and external assurance processes
Financial
Assist in ESG budget planning and cost-saving initiatives
Skills Required
Technical:
Proficient in MS Word Excel and PowerPoint
Familiarity with ESG tools audit processes regulatory compliance software
Behavioral:
Strong communication analytical thinking detail-oriented team collaboration
Key Performance Indicators
Adherence to SOPs and timelines
Accuracy of MIS and reports
Effective stakeholder communication
ESG rating improvement and audit readiness
