Job Description
Grade and Salary:Grade 3 (23028 - 23414)
FTE and working pattern:Full Time hours (35 hours 1 FTE) rota based shift pattern
Purpose of Role:The Catering Assistant will deliver service excellence to squads and facility users.
Summary of Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- The Catering Assistant will provide excellent counter service
- The Catering Assistant will help support squad delivery
- The Catering Assistant will maintain Bistro facility cleaning at all times
- The Catering Assistant will work to upsell Bistro items
Education Qualifications & Experience:

Essential
- Demonstrable ability to speak and understand English in order to follow verbal and written instructions and deal with customer/student queries
- Well-developed interpersonal skills
- Demonstrable excellent customer service
- Demonstrable ability to work flexibly and accurately in a pressured environment
- Demonstrable professional and proactive approach
- Attention to detail
Desirable
- Experience of working within a similar catering and/or cleaning environment
- Experience of operating relevant catering and/or cleaning equipment
