We are looking for a motivated and driven individual to join us as the new Asset and Quality Coordinator Commercial Assets & Plant! You will join a high-performing welcoming team based at our modern Head Office in Collins Street which offers a vibrant environment featuring a balcony BBQ area collaborative and quiet spaces and plenty of natural light.

Salary: $170000 - $180000 inclusive of Superannuation

Key Responsibilities

• Asset acquisition - Assist the business in the selection of assets facilitate lease/purchase quotes and approvals in accordance with Delegations of Authority.
• Work with internal and external stakeholders to ensure asset specification are configured correctly meeting fit for purpose requirements of the business governance quality and compliance requirements.
• Managing asset utilisation and eliminate unnecessary assets and costs.
• The provision of repairs and maintenance fuel card toll telematics infringements breakdown and accident management services.
• Maintain asset and other applicable databases to ensure accurate record cost allocation of assets.
• Facilitate asset maintenance procedures to ensure ongoing asset fitness for intended purpose compliance with manufacturers/regulatory specifications and OHS guidelines.
• Formulate or help formulate quality procedures and plans and interfaces within the company with customers and suppliers on asset quality-related issues.
• Coordinate the disposal of surplus assets in accordance with Delegations of Authority with the objective of obtaining the best possible financial return for the Company.
• Provide management reports to assist the business in making informed decisions.
• Ensure the quality. physical protection security and control of all assets.
• Review audit and process invoices in accordance with Delegations of Authority.

About You

• Demonstrated Asset management experience.
• Knowledge and experience in supplier/contract management.
• Experience in leasing and asset ownership management.
• Experience in financial transactions and controls.
• Work closely with the Senior Leadership Team to ensure overall company quality objectives are met.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement & management skills at all levels both internally and external.
• A team player who is motivated and can drive outcomes in an inclusive and collaborative manner.
• Knowledge of asset related quality compliance and governance requirements/guidelines.
• Demonstrated experience with Light Heavy Commercial & Plant & Equipment assets
• Demonstrated knowledge of commercial asset regulatory requirements
• Ability to spec and build commercial assets plant and equipment.
• A service delivery/continuous improvement/problem solving mindset.
