Job Description

Our Foam manufacturing facility located in Phoenix AZ is currently hiring for Truck Loader

  • ** Hours are Monday-Friday 5AM-3PM**
  • **Hourly pay starting at $16.00/hr**

JOB SUMMARY

The Truck Loader is responsible for the setup and operation of assigned production lines ensuring timely and accurate loading of materials according to customer specifications. This role requires a keen attention to detail adherence to safety protocols and effective communication with team members. The Truck Loader plays a critical role in maintaining the flow of materials and the efficiency of production operations.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS/DUTIES

  • Doff packages and load materials as specified on customer orders.
  • Read and understand the production schedule and pick lists to ensure accurate loading.
  • Perform visual inspections of fiber and finished rolls removing processed waste to designated areas.
  • Ensure proper knowledge of tube cores packaging materials and stock areas.
  • Learn the mechanical and electrical parts of wind-up machines and their purposes.
  • Comply with lock-out tag-out procedures and all other safety rules and requirements. Refer any unresolved safety issues to the Supervisor.
  • Maintain a clean and organized production line.
  • Ensure effective communication between team members to facilitate smooth operations.
  • Other duties as assigned.

KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS

  • Accuracy in loading materials according to specifications.
  • Timeliness in adhering to production schedules.
  • Effectiveness in maintaining safety and housekeeping standards.
  • Communication and teamwork effectiveness.
  • Adherence to safety and environmental guidelines.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • High School Diploma or equivalent (preferred).
  • Ability to read write and interpret documents.
  • Ability to perform basic math functions.
  • Ability to lift 50lbs.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
  • Physical ability to perform tasks requiring continuous movement and lifting.

WORKING CONDITIONS

  • Predominantly outdoor work in various weather conditions.
  • Some indoor cleaning and maintenance tasks.
  • This position is physically demanding and involves working in a production environment.
