Position Description: Trinity Valley School seeks a full time Coordinator of Athlete Performance and Development to join the TVS coaching staff for the 2025-2026 school year.

The mission of the TVS Athletic Department is to inspire extraordinary students to become competent competitive character-based athletes. The Athletic program at Trinity Valley School provides an extraordinary opportunity to develop the athleticism and character of young students. Collaboration with all constituent groups at the School is essential as the program offers community building for students families faculty and staff.
The Coordinator of Athlete Performance and Development will report to the Athletic Director and will prioritize relationship building with colleagues students and their families. Successful candidates will embrace the mission and values of the School and be willing to act as a representative of TVS in the Fort Worth community.
Coaching Responsibilities:
- Abiding by the rules and regulations established by TVS and the Southwest Preparatory Conference ()
- Working closely with the Director of Athletics and Program Directors/Head Coaches
- Positively encouraging training and providing guided instruction for development to participants in the use of the weight room and its benefits (Grades 6-12)
- Instructing weight room participants in the rules guidelines and proper techniques in strength and conditioning
- Implementing sound developmental plans and strategies for each individual to gain improvement in personal development strength and physical conditioning
- Role modeling good sportsmanship and maintaining appropriate conduct toward athletes officials and spectators
- Scheduling and organizing effective weight room/strength and conditioning sessions for individuals/teams
- Coordinating the promotion and understanding of the benefits of the strength and conditioning in conjunction with the mission of TVS
- Working collegially with fellow coaches and Athletic Department staff
- Coordinating summer workout opportunities with athletics colleagues for student-athletes
- Representing TVS and the athletics department in a professional manner and within the bounds of good sportsmanship
- Generating additional support of the strength and conditioning program through building connections with upper middle and lower school students and families
- Create and deliver developmental programs for each team and athlete for in-season off-season and post-season training
Teaching Responsibilities:
- Duties will include teaching proper technique and use of body weight and light equipment for age-appropriate youth development
- Working cooperatively with physical education teachers in planning and implementing a comprehensive physical education curriculum
- Establishing and maintaining standards of excellence for supervision and student engagement
- Collaborating with classroom teachers and administration as needed regarding social emotional and physical development of students
- Flexibility to work in a wide variety of settings and shared facilities
- Candidate will work under the supervision of the PE Department Chair and the Director of Athletics/Physical Education
- Candidate may be asked to instruct one or more Physical Education classes throughout the year as needed
- Candidate may be asked depending on need to fill other duties as assigned
Knowledge Experience and Skill Requirements:
The ideal candidate will
- Hold a bachelors degree in Exercise Science Kinesiology or related field
- Have a minimum of 3 years demonstrated success in the field as a lead instructor
- Possess at least one of the following certifications or equivalent: CSCS CES PES YES or obtain certification in the first year of employment
- Support fully the four main objectives of the TVS Mission Statement

- Exemplify personal and professional integrity
- Work collaboratively with faculty and the Athletic Department
- Possess strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Have a strong commitment to the multi-sport student-athlete concept
- Successfully complete CPR training possess or obtain valid Texas drivers license and successfully complete ESC Region 11 Bus Driver Certification
