Pavion and our family of companies are seeking a talented and motivated Service Technician to join our security business unit.
- Responsible for maintenance repairs and small additions to existing access control and video systems
- Tests electrical security systems to ensure proper installation and operation
- Inspects electrical systems to determine whether repairs are needed
- Installs conduits and pulls low voltage cable
- Trims out security devices
- Replaces conduit and wiring as needed
- Ensures piping complies with electrical codes
- Performs other related duties as assigned

- High school diploma or equivalent
- Completion of a formal apprenticeship and valid Limited Energy Class A license is required
- A valid drivers license and acceptable driving record
- Ability to read and understand blueprints
- Extensive knowledge of electrical systems and wiring
- Ability to use hand tools and power tools
- Proficient in the use of test meters and other diagnostic equipment
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- The ability to travel for work and stay overnight if needed
Preferred Qualifications:
- Manufacturer Certifications (i.e. Lenel AMAG SWH Genetec Avigilon Hanwha Axis)
- Ability to wire and troubleshoot relay logic
- WA06 license for Washington
- Hear in the normal range with or without correction
- Have vision sufficient to perform work and be able to see color to discern color-coded wiring
- Frequently use hands to finger handle or feel and reach with hands and arms walk sit stand climb or balance and stoop twist and bend at the waist kneel crouch squat crawl raise arms above shoulder height perform repetitive hand movements
- Frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 75 pounds from floor level to waist height up stairs
- Be able to climb and work off a ladder or scaffold
