Boeing Defense Space & Security (BDS) has an exciting opportunity for an SI&WS Business Operations Lead Program Management Specialist (Level 5) to join our dynamic Business Operations team in either Arlington Virginia; El Segundo or Huntington Beach California; Houston Texas; Huntsville Alabama; Kennedy Space Center Florida or Berkeley Missouri.

Position Responsibilities:

• Uses knowledge of policies practices trends and information affecting the business and organization; leverages it to help the business and organization operate
• Understands the big picture and the interrelationships of all positions and activities including the impact of changes in one area on another area
• Collaborates with the business and functional stakeholders in the development of business cases
• Supports the coordination of commitments with internal and external organizations to fulfill strategic priorities
• Develops recommendations and presents plans to executive leadership to gain approval and provide implementation direction
• Assists in implementation of cost management investments and other portfolio/project management initiatives
• Utilizes Risk Management tools and methodology to identify assess and mitigate risks
• Exhibits a positive attitude and willingness to serve as a change agent

This position is hybrid. The selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite at one of the listed location options. This is at the hiring teams discretion and could potentially change in the future.

This position is for 1st shift.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

• More than 5 years of experience collecting interpreting data and managing high level projects for senior and executive leadership
• More than 5 years of experience with finance data integration within business processes
• Experience in business development and/or building business cases
• Experience in leading a cross-functional or cross-organizational team through a complex project or initiative that resulted in operational change

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

• Bachelors degree or higher
• PMP Certified or experience with Boeings Program Management Best Practices or equivalent program/project management experience
• Experience using analytical skills and data analysis
• Functional experience in finance and strategy

Typical Education/Experience:

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 14 or more years related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD9 years related work experience Master12 years related work experience 18 years related work experience etc.)

Travel:

Position may require travel up to 10% of the time.

Summary pay ranges:

Alabama; Florida; Missouri: $136850 - $185150

California; Texas; Virginia: $146200 - $197800
