Job Description

POSITION : Board Certified Behavioral Analyst at Nessacus Regional Middle School

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).
  • Experience working with students with complex disabilities and challenging behaviors
  • Superior communication/writing/consultation skills

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

  • Provides direct instruction and intervention for students with behavioral challenges at Nessacus Regional Middle School.
  • Carries out functional behavioral assessments.
  • Develops and monitors behavior intervention strategies
  • Consults with team members about behavior plans curriculum modifications accommodations and social skills instruction
  • Provides staff with resources tools and modeling of intervention strategies
  • Consults for programs that utilize a discrete trials training approach
  • Provides professional development around behavior management techniques and other topics as needed
  • Assists in developing measurable behavioral goals and objectives
  • Develops plans and monitor data collection to assess progress
  • Reviews data and make recommendations on modifying current programming based on the data
  • Facilitates consistency of interventions between schools and homes through home visits assessments and/or in-home services
  • Assumes other duties obligations or responsibilities as required

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

  • Ability to work with students who require physical prompting and support with behaviors.
  • Ability to sit stand talk and listen.

REPORTS TO: Principal/Director of StudentServices

START DATE: Augst 25 2025.

SALARY: In accordance with contract.
