An established and forward-thinking energy and building performance consultancy is seeking a proactive and technically astute Key Account Manager to join their growing team. With a strong focus on improving energy performance across commercial sites this role offers the opportunity to make a real impact on clients carbon goals and operational efficiency.

Working closely with internal technical teams engineers and external partners youll be responsible for managing a portfolio of energy performance and maintenance contracts.

This role blends client relationship management project coordination technical oversight and commercial development ideal for someone who thrives in a varied fast-paced environment.

Work Locations:
  • City of London
  • Suffolk
  • Essex

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as a trusted point of contact for a portfolio of energy and maintenance contracts.
  • Drive the delivery of energy-saving initiatives and client actions across multiple sites.
  • Liaise with energy analysts to ensure consumption budgets are met.
  • Work with the helpdesk team to manage engineer attendance and maintain service within budget.
  • Oversee contract delivery and development with a focus on continuous improvement and portfolio enhancement.
  • Survey BMS and plant equipment to identify opportunities for energy reduction.
  • Produce costings and proposals for small works and remedial actions.
  • Support and promote technical delivery of small works including HVAC upgrades and BMS integration.
  • Project manage third-party integrations ensuring smooth delivery and client satisfaction.
  • Participate in regular client meetings tendering processes and contract negotiations.
  • Develop new proposals and help grow the client pipeline.
  • Report on contract and financial performance to senior leadership.

Qualifications

  • Solid experience with Building Management Systems (ideally Trend or Tridium).
  • Strong understanding of mechanical and electrical systems in commercial buildings.
  • Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities independently.
  • Professional reliable and enthusiastic with a focus on client satisfaction.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Confident in delivering technical and commercial presentations to stakeholders.
  • Able to work flexibly across sites and with cross-functional teams.
