    PRIMARY PURPOSE:
    Ensure compliance with state requirements for collecting processing and transmitting studentstaff and financial data through the Public Education Information Management System (PEIMS) andTexas Student Data System (TSDS).

    QUALIFICATIONS:
    TEA certification requirements
    High School Graduate or GED
    One year experience in computer database spreadsheet word processing and keyboarding mandatory
    Training in the TSDS Public Education Information Management System (PEIMS) preferred
    The ability to handle delegated administrative details
    The ability to write clear and concise memoranda directives or letters without close supervision
    The ability to carry out instructions and develop comprehensive plans with a minimum of supervision
    The ability to establish and maintain effective working relations with all district employees aswell as the general public

    MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
    Work with the Bilingual/ESL Department to review/verify data entry for identified EmergentBilingual Students.
    Collect and process documents pertinent to the placement and LPAC reviews of Emergent Bilingualstudents.
    Attend trainings set forth by the Bilingual/ESL Department.
    Ensure that the Military Connect students are coded on PEIMS for the Campus PEIMS Clerk.
    Assist with district-wide TSDS PEIMS Collections: Fall Mid-Year Summer and Optional ExtendedYear submissions.
    Assist with TSDS Core Collection Class Roster: Fall and Winter submissions.
    Work cooperatively with campus and central office staff to collect organize and format datarequired for TSDS submissions according to TEAs Texas Web Enabled Data Standards (TWEDS).
    Run reports and verification checks on data to ensure the accuracy of information and distributeto appropriate staff for analysis validation and correction.
    Provide training and support to campuses and staff responsible for processing studentinformation.
    Assist principals and administrative staff on fatal errors and warning on PEIMS edit.
    Responsible for district-wide TSDS Unique ID and TREx System.
    Assist with the development and maintenance of training materials for principals secretariesclerks and other administrative staff.
    Answer all calls pertaining to coding PEIMS data.
    Correct fatal errors and warnings on PEIMS frozen files.
    Generate and distribute final report from TEA to all campuses special programs directorscoordinators and administration.
    Perform office routines and practices associated with a productive and efficient officeoperation.
    Compile maintain and file all reports records and other documents as required.
    Performs all duties in a safe manner to avoid injury to oneself and/or to others.
    Maintain confidentiality of information.
    Performs other duties as assigned.
