Caterpillars Resource Industries Sales Services & Technology (RISST) division is seeking a MineStar Supply Chain Sales Support Consultant to join the MineStar Supply Chain S&OP team. This team is responsible for balancing demand and supply managing order to delivery functions administering and supporting the CRM tool (Salesforce) and tracking key KPIs.
As a Sales Support Consultant in the MineStar Supply Chain team you will support a diverse group of internal and external customers including the MineStar supply chain sales go to market NPI and product support teams as well as Cat dealers. You will meet with key dealers regularly and manage dealer order inquiries through PartsViz. The Sales Support Consultant must also track and manage material (kits) required for autonomous/semi-autonomous truck conversions at customer sites with multiple site conversions happening concurrently worldwide. You will collaborate with your counterparts to ensure MineStar is delivering on commercial commitments with each of our dealers/customers.
What You Will Do:
Advise MineStar sales and go to market teams on stock readiness for upcoming sales opportunities using a variety of tools many housed in Power BI
Collaborate with LPAs and suppliers on schedule smoothing and expediting requests in alignment with dealer/customer need by dates
Follow up on and correspond daily with dealers regarding PartsViz cases including reviewing and advising on material availability and estimated ship dates
Guide MineStar sales and go to market teams on best practices for managing and maintaining their Salesforce opportunities and demand streams
Lead and facilitate monthly S&OP alignment meetings with MineStar sales teams to drive demand alignment and forecast accuracy
Proactively monitor for and understand upcoming engineering changes to kit part numbers to identify potential impacts to dealers customers and/or site implementations
Assist with material procurement for special projects such as trade shows and demonstrations

What You Will Bring:
Proficiency in advanced Excel functions including Pivot tables XLOOKUP and data analysis tools
Proven ability to leverage Power BI for strategic data visualization performance tracking and business intelligence
Ability to manage multiple priorities through strong planning and organization skills excellent initiative and the ability to collaborate effectively with multiple teams
Commitment to driving business impact through swift resolution of customer issues and a deeply rooted commitment to customer success
Ability to accommodate meetings outside of normal working hours with peers and customers around the world in different time zones
Considerations for Top Candidates:
Bachelors degree in supply chain business management or related field preferred. Masters degree a plus
Previous successful project leadership experience
Understanding of Cat MineStar/Mining Technology products
Experience with PSLD systems such as SAP SPM (SPP EWM) Antares PIC and/or PartsViz - particularly with work related to dealer order management/collaboration
Familiarity with Salesforce in sales opportunity maintenance and/or quote configuration
Previous role working directly with dealer teams
Additional Information:
This position requires the candidate to work full-time at the Peoria IL office.
This position may require 10 % travel.

Summary Pay Range:
$110520.00 - $165840.00Compensation and benefits offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors job level market locationjob-related knowledge skills individual performance and experience. Please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Caterpillar.
