The Prime Air Workplace and Ops PR team is looking for a creative and strategic communicator to join our this role you will have the opportunity to work with some of the brightest minds in the industry collaborating with senior leadership to drive narratives that showcase Amazons innovative drone delivery technology and its impact on communities worldwide.
Key job responsibilities
Craft and execute innovative PR strategies that position Amazon as the leader in drone delivery technology
Develop compelling narratives that highlight the transformative potential of drone delivery for customers communities and the environment
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create engaging content including press releases blog posts and multimedia assets
Build and maintain relationships with key media outlets and influencers in the technology and logistics sectors
Lead crisis communications and reputation management efforts related to drone delivery operations
Work closely with senior leadership to align PR strategies with broader business objectives
Identify and leverage speaking opportunities and industry events to showcase Amazons drone delivery innovations

- 7 years of recent professional communications or public relations experience
- Bachelors degree
- Exemplary written and oral communications skills
- Exercise high judgment particularly in narrow timeframes
- Think and communicate clearly the ability to formulate a clear point of view on complicated issues and create a concise and well-written narrative to express it
- Develop creative effective approaches to difficult communications challenges
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and deadline-oriented environment
- Team player who is willing to roll up their sleeves to get the job done
- Creativity and the ability to develop fresh concepts for generating media coverage
- Pay painstaking attention to important details
- Ideally having worked for public relations or public affairs agency on diverse reputational issues

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $114000/year in our lowest geographic market up to $188500/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge skills and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered equity sign-on payments and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package in addition to a full range of medical financial and/or other benefits.
