Project Manager - Florida - Commercial Food Service Projects
We have an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented organized and driven In-Office Project Manager to oversee multiple commercial foodservice projects. This role is responsible for coordinating all aspects of the project lifecycle from submittals to procurement to close-out ensuring on-time on-budget delivery and adherence to client specifications. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced collaborative office environment and bring a proactive solutions-oriented approach.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the central point of contact for assigned projects coordinating communication between clients contractors vendors and internal teams.
- Review architectural drawings kitchen layouts and equipment schedules to ensure project accuracy and alignment with scope.
- Prepare and manage submittals RFIs change orders and punch lists.
- Track project timelines and proactively manage scheduling of equipment procurement delivery and installation.
- Coordinate with purchasing and logistics teams to ensure timely and accurate ordering of materials and equipment.
- Communicate project updates and potential issues to stakeholders in a timely and professional manner.
- Collaborate with field installation teams and subcontractors to resolve site issues as needed.
- Ensure compliance with contract terms budgets and internal standards.
- Participate in project closeout including final documentation sign-offs and handover.
Qualifications:
- 3 years of experience in project management preferably in commercial construction foodservice or related industries.
- Familiarity with foodservice equipment and layouts is highly preferred.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel Word Outlook); experience with project management or ERP software is a plus.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently and collaboratively within an office environment.
Preferred Tools/Systems Experience:
- SAGE or other ERP systems
- AutoCAD or basic blueprint reading
- Smartsheet MS Project or other scheduling tools
